Pink Lemurian Quartz Crystal Woven Wire Wrap Pendant

This pretty pink hued quartz crystal originates from Brazil and gets its natural color from a dusting of hematite deposited during the crystal's formation.

Lemuria is believed to be a pre-history ancient advanced civilization that we know very little about in contemporary times, much like Atlantis. These crystal were named for that civilization and can be physically recognized by their hallmark line striped sides.

I have always loved holding and looking at pink lemurians. At one time they were abundantly coming out of the mines, but sadly they are scarce in recent years.

Pendant measures 2.75 inches long including the handmade bail.

Unwrapped pink Lemurian quartz crystal measures 65 mm long, 16 mm wide and 14 mm deep; it weighs 17.8 grams. It has an internal rainbow in the right light behind its lower woven band, best seen in the first picture.

Hand woven in sterling silver wire.

The pendant comes with a satin cord, but would also look lovely worn on a silver chain.
