Ethiopian Opal Rhodochrosite Heart Pendant with Pyrite

Unwrapped large spectacular rainbow fire Ethiopian opal measures 28 mm long, 17 mm wide and 9 mm thick; the opal weighs 1.7 grams or 8.5 carats! This specimen is pure opal, no matrix stone, and has rich complex high grade internal rainbow fire flash! I photographed it from multiple slightly different angles to bring out the changing fire in the stone.

Artisan hand crafted in sterling silver with a 14 mm by 14 mm rhodochrosite heart, tiny sparkling Swarovski crystals, a Venetian glass sommerso aventurina bead and tiny faceted pyrite beads.

Comes with a satin cord.

The opal comes from Ethiopia (the Welo Mine).
