Ethiopian Opal Woven Wire Wrapped Pendant

The opals in this piece come from the Welo Mine in Ethiopia. It is getting harder and harder to find nice specimens with rich color in the fire flash. These types of opals are essentially translucent to bright light and display pretty changing rainbow fire as the stone is viewed from multiple angles!

Pendant measures just over 2 inches long.

Unwrapped top opal measures 15 mm long and 11 mm wide as placed in setting; bottom opal measures 15 mm long and 12 mm wide as placed in setting. The combined weight of these opals is 3.2 grams or 16 carats!

Artisan hand crafted in sterling silver wire with Swarovski crystal accents.

Comes with a chocolate brown satin cord.
